"Between you and living life, the connection is breath. Regulate your breath and you will be able to overcome any circumstances that are draining your energy. Control your breathing and you will be able to master the pressure of life.If you take care of it, you take away the automatism of the mind and become victorious."
BREATH WORKSHOP
In Ayurvedic medicine, breathing is a conscious practice that is considered a therapy, just like eating or massage. Pranayama, a five thousand year old yoga technique, is the discipline of breathing to harmonise our life energy in our vital organs and mind. By paying attention to and controlling our breathing, we can make many beneficial changes to our health and consciousness. The breath is closely linked to the nervous system and the immune system.

The way we breathe determines the way we live our lives: under stress or in peace. Breathing is a key element in improving health. It is a real remedy that provides oxygen to the body and regulates emotions. Breathing is the only vital function that can be consciously controlled and directed. It is essential from both a physiological and psychological point of view. It is the most important means of strengthening the body's resistance and stabilising mental disturbances. The management of the breath can change the heartbeat, hormone secretions and brain waves, which can influence healing and lead to the transformation of life. The breath, an innate automatism, gives life to the body and animates the mind. It serves as a bridge between the ego and the soul by acting on the subconscious.
"Psychic life influences respiration,
respiration influences psychic life."
The breathing workshops are open to everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. The methods taught are mainly based on Kundalini Yoga. They are practised in a sitting or chair position, and sometimes even standing. Arm and hand movements, as well as sounds, may accompany some practices. By practising various specific breathing techniques, participants immediately feel the benefits. They can then apply them in all situations of their daily life. This can also lead to a gradual introduction to meditation. On request, a certificate of participation can be issued. The duration and cost of the workshop can be adapted according to needs.
